From October 1–3, Gazali Agboola and Jeffrey Blay represented our team at the North
Carolina ArcGIS User Conference in Asheville, NC. The conference brought together
professionals, researchers, and students to share advancements in geospatial
technologies and applications.
Gazali Agboola presented his research, “Landslide Detection Using Deep Learning and
Geographic Information Systems: A Case Study of Western North Carolina.” His work
highlights the potential of advanced geospatial methods for addressing critical
environmental challenges in the region.
