Dr. Leila Hashemi-Beni Represents the Team at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) 2025 Conference

From December 15–19, 2025, Dr. Leila Hashemi-Beni represented our team at the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Fall Meeting 2025 in New Orleans, LA. The conference brought together professionals, researchers, and students from around the

world to share advancements in Earth and space sciences, as well as geospatial

technologies and applications.

Dr. Leila Hashemi-Beni presented research supported by NASA and the National

Science Foundation (NSF), highlighting the role of advanced geospatial methods and

artificial intelligence in addressing critical environmental and societal challenges. Her

work emphasizes the integration of remote sensing and data-driven approaches for

improved understanding and monitoring of Earth systems.
